Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept payment by both credit and debit cards.
We accept, Switch, Delta, Visa and MasterCard.

When you receive confirmation of your order, this is only an indication that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the event that a mistake has been made in pricing, where we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product. In the case of a price increase, we will always contact you first to ensure that the revised price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
Charges for delivery are not included in the stated product price - see Delivery for details of applicable charges. Every product on this site is delivered by our standard service in the UK mainland (excluding the Scottish Highlands, islands or Northern Ireland, the Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man and Channel islands.) unless you select a different delivery option at the checkout, all products ordered by this method will normally arrive within 3-5 working days working days.


24 Hour Delivery
If you select the 24hr delivery option at the checkout your order will be delivered within 24hrs of dispatch, please note that the delivery services do not operate on Saturdays or Sundays therefore orders placed on Friday may not arrive until the following Monday.


Saturday Delivery
Saturday delivery is available at extra cost, Order by 1pm Thursday for delivery on the next Saturday. Orders after 1pm Thursday will be delivered on the following Saturday.
Delivery Schedule
Subject to availability we will ship your order on the next working day (Monday to Friday, Bank Holidays excluded). You should normally receive your order within 3-5 business days.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
VAT at the standard rate of 17.5% will be added to all orders.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any website.
Guarantee
Every product purchased from us is guaranteed for 12 months, if your purchase fails in some way within this period you may return it to us and we will arrange the repair or replacement.
The above guarantee does not cover physical damage, damage caused by fire, liquid immersion or spillage.
All guarantees are in addition to and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.


After one month of ownership the legal right to a free replacement or refund ends and instead the fault is repaired under warranty. Bern Digital does not carry out repairs. All products are sent to the manufacturer for repair.

A warranty repair is offered for most faulty goods purchased from Bern Digital that you have had for more than 28 days.

When we accept return of an item for repair, we will confirm the fault and send the goods back to the relevant manufacturer or distributor. Due to the process and timing involved, it may take 4-6 weeks for an item to be received by us, sent for repair, returned to us, then subsequently returned back to you.
This does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse, for which there will be no refund or exchange.


PRODUCTS - FAULTY WITHIN 28 DAYS
If you receive an item that does not function, it may be that you are not sure whether the product is faulty, incompatible, or that you are not sure if it is being used correctly. In these cases, we suggest that you contact the manufacturer of the product who will advise on the course of action and may either get it configured, replace it directly, or refer you back to Bern Digital.
This does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse, for which there will be no refund or exchange

Bern Digital do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. Data collected by this site is used to:

Returns Policy
WITHIN 28 DAYS OF RECEIPT:
If your purchase develops a fault within 28 days of receipt, we will generally exchange or refund the item provided it is in 'as-new' condition when returned to us. See above - Warranty Repairs

OUTSIDE 28 DAYS OF RECEIPT:
If your purchase develops a fault after 28 days and within its 12 month guarantee period you will be responsible for returning the product to us, we will arrange to repair and return the product to you free of charge ( UK only). This does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse for which there can be no refund or exchange.

DAMAGED GOODS
Please try to check your delivery on receipt. If signing for goods that are damaged please sign as "damaged", or "unchecked" if you're not able to check at the time of delivery.

In the unlikely event your order is received damaged please contact us immediately. Please retain the original packaging for returning your order. Contact us with your Bern Digital order number and with details of the problem and from where and when the returned parcel can be conveniently collected. We will arrange to replace or refund your order, whichever your preference. It is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect goods supplied within 7 days of delivery.

UNWANTED GOODS
Within 7 days of receipt.

Provided your purchase remains unused and 'as new' unopened with all seals intact we will accept the product back for a refund up to 7 days after purchase without question. This refund does not extend to the cost of delivery or return and your product will need to be inspected before reimbursement.
Opened goods are non-refundable, unless it is found to be faulty.
We will process a refund by the same means that the goods were purchased, less a 5% handling charge to cover our re-stocking, administration and carriage costs. If you prefer to exchange your returned goods for an alternative product to the same or higher value, we may waive the handling charge.

Please note that we do not accept returns on any of the following:

Units that have been powered up, installed, damaged or abused.
Sealed CD-ROM navigation and data discs.
Products damaged through being returned in inadequate packaging.

It is your responsibility to ensure the products are securely packaged (radios wrapped only in brown paper or 'Jiffy' bags will not be accepted)
